![]() ![]() ![]() His song, Repeat Stuff, Burnham pokes fun at his own career choice and shows how some entertainers capitalize off of the insecurities of their audiences to gain a profit through simple, catchy jingles. “The world isn’t sad! The world is funny! I get it now I’m a sociopath!” Burnham exclaims sarcastically as he begins to list more tragic events within the song. Early on in the performance, Burnham performs a song called Sad and it discusses a bunch of amusingly depressing scenarios, but he puts a spin on it to show that comedy could help people cope with the horrors that the world occasionally offers. Probably his most recognizable song, Left Brain, Right Brain, is in his repertoire for this production and it describes the analytical side of his mind and the playful side of his mind being at war with one another and creates a sophisticated metaphor about his journey of how comedy helped him cope with his mental health issues. Some of the songs that Burnham has performed in this exact performance would be easily recognizable to many of the readers of this article. This show has a broad array of songs throughout its catalogue that will be sure to be stuck in your head for days on end. In 2013, Bo Burnham performed and recorded a stage show, entitled Bo Burnham: what. This particular song shows early on that the topic of discussion in the majority of his songs will be relating to his insecurities and mental health. But, it also shows genuine vulnerability for him to be speaking of insecurities of that magnitude. For never understanding or learning that everyday can’t be about him.” Those lyrics alone show how talented of an artist Bo Burnham is and it is quite a contradiction for him to write a song of that title. When he grows up to become a comic or actor, he’ll be rewarded for never maturing. Burnham sings, “Have you ever been to a birthday party for children? And one of the children won’t stop screaming, ‘cause he’s just a little attention attractor. Burnham uses a metaphor to explain what being an entertainer is like in the lyrics. This song discusses the degree of narcissism that it takes for a person to be a performer and the insecurity of feeling not worthy enough for the praise that is given. This is a very self aware song that many mentally ill ex-gifted kids relate to. One song that really sticks out in particular within his repertoire, prior to his Netflix specials, is his song Art is Dead from his 2010 Amazon Prime comedy special Bo Burnham: Words, Words, Words. Burnham has indulged in various projects prior to his iconic Netflix comedy specials that generated many amazing songs. The videos he had posted gained traction and have amassed millions of views which gave him a platform to show off his music, comedy, and poetry. This Massachuesetts born comedian got his start in 2006 when he started publishing videos on Youtube of his original songs. Maestro comedian, Bo Burnham, marries intricate musical selections with self-deprecating humor in his Netflix specials that will be sure to make you painfully chuckle as you sing along with the lyrics. ![]()

![]() ![]() You’re going to lose some pixels on the edges with both tools. If I owned Luminar AI (and I do), I wouldn’t worry about adding another tool, unless you truly need more control over the resulting crop. Nik’s Perspective Efex wins both of those. The differences come in speed and post-correction abilities. I think I’d give Perspective Efex a slight advantage, but very slight. I’m happy with both of them as far as the perspective correction part goes. Which Perspective Correction Software Should You Use? When you select the Manual Crop tool, you can see the shape of the photo that Perspective Efex created, and you can then adjust your crop within those results. You can make some cropping decisions in Perspective Efex that Luminar AI just doesn’t allow. Where Perspective Efex starts to pull ahead is with its speed and cropping options after processing. In my view, Perspective Efex and Luminar AI are comparable as perspective correction software tools. Perspective Efex is FAST! It gives you a result while Luminar AI is still tying it’s shoelaces to start the race. ![]() It was, however, slower to get a result and didn’t offer you any options once it completed. In terms of the Perspective Correction Software shootout, Luminar AI did very well in many cases. So if it cuts something off to high or too low, there’s nothing you can do about it. Luminar AI decides for you what part of that shape you can use. ![]() You lose pixels on the edges and you can only crop inside of that shape. When perspective correction software adjusts a photo, the result often looks like a trapezoid. You get what it gives you, even if you would like to adjust it further. The one shortcoming I found with Luminar AI is that it doesn’t give any options to choose your crop after perspective correction. If that’s not enough, there are sliders to fine tune the axis of your photo horizontally, vertically and by aspect. In most cases, you can get great results by pushing two buttons. Luminar AI does a lot of the heavy lifting for you. Most of us won’t have those lenses with us while we’re enjoying some travel or doing a bit of street photography.Īs a result, the lines on buildings in our photos tend to tilt inward, particularly with wide angle lenses.įortunately, we can use tools like the Perspective options in Luminar AI’s Composition AI tool or Perspective Efex as part of the Nik Collection 3. Professional architecture photographers enjoy special lenses that correct for perspective issues in-camera. If you take travel photos or enjoy street photography, there’s a good chance you have photos of architecture that could use some perspective correction. ![]() ![]() ![]() These were turn based and players made complicated move choices to out maneuver their opponents and win large strategic battles. A tabletop game could easily be said as the older version of real time strategy games. Tabletop games had an odd standing of popularity. Warhammer 40k is a tabletop game invented in the 80s to sell alongside the normal Warhammer fantasy series. Warhammer 40,000 is by far one of the most popular gaming franchises on the planet. Retribution was nominated for a Gamer’s Award, but never won it. Warhammer is one of my favorite franchises so which I never have a regret in buying. If you have played it, just get Elven Legacy, otherwise you will just find yourself wasting your time.Īt the discount price of $9.99 I picked up Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2 Retribution. Overall if you have not played this game, it’s worth picking up. But there are so many enemies on a lot of these maps that you have to skip enemies too. What they want you to do is split up your army to get around to all these side quests. This leaves you skipping side quests and side objectives. But in this game you often only have 1-2 turns left over to kill him (not enough). On most turn based games (without a time limit) you usually spend 5-6 turns just preparing for that final battle. Each level ends with a harder than normal unit who is fortified in a keep. ![]() On the very first level of the very first campaign you are instantly brought into a 20-turns limit on beating the level. It is likely to scare off a lot of people. I think one of the weaknesses of this game is that… it is so fricking hard. I myself played Ogre Battle 64 at least 10 times through just so I could see how and what each upgraded unit was used for. There are people out there that enjoy just playing through the exact same game over and over so they can see what units will ‘evolve’ into. The ability to upgrade your units is going to appeal to customization people. On top of that, the online community for this game moved to Elven Legacy.īut if you have not played this game before it sure would have been worth the $3 you paid for it. I ran through these levels like there was no tomorrow. Having had played this game on launch and having paid $49.99 for it on launch I can say the replay value is simply, not there. I’m surprised Ino-Co has never hosted a tournament. The community for this game is quite massive considering how cheaply made the game is. This gave the Advance Wars loving community a place to run to for their multiplayer love.Įlven Legacy would go on to be a major success as well adding two new races to the game and creating an even larger campaign. The second prong was that Advance Wars has been out for 4 years by this point and still had not implemented multiplayer (despite Nintendo DS being designed around multiplayer). The first was that Fantasy Wars was released with four long campaigns that were likely to keep you occupied for quite some time. The game went on to do so well that Fantasy Wars spawned a sequel simply named ‘Elven Legacy.”Ī lot of Fantasy Wars success was two prong. So yeah, it did pretty well and was received very well by a community that generally hates these super hard turn based strategy games. The game received great reviews from everyone: Hexagons offerįantasy Wars was released in 2006 by Russian developer Ino-Co. These turn based games involve moving units around a map of hexagons and attacking enemies. I would give you a fair warning, when you start any of these games… start on the easiest difficulty. These games will boil down hours upon hours of your time as even the first levels seem to be almost unbeatable sometimes. The Nintendo DS title of this type was so geared towards advanced players they called it “Advance Wars.” They would make another title like this called Final Fantasy Tactics. Turn based strategy games have some of the hardest gameplay out of any style of play and are often geared towards advanced players. If you have played a lot of turn based games you are probably aware of what Fantasy Wars is all about. It was so cheap specifically because it’s an old game with a sequel. ![]() This is definitely a nickel and dimer at $3.99. So this week a game I picked up was… Fantasy Wars. Most of the games on sale were just junky ARMA 2 which I had no interest in downloading at all (I’m sorry, but I own like 100 first person shooter games, I don’t need another… really). Last week (November 8-11 th) Steam had a midweek sale. ![]() ![]() ![]() The site uses a simple interface and launches a speed test automatically. įast.com is an online speed test from Netflix.
